Jocelyn McDermott - Permanent Make-Up Artist

Jocelyn graduated from Cosmetology School in 1980 and has been doing professional makeup for over 27 years. She attended the Huntington Academy of Permanent Cosmetics and is certified in both permanent makeup and micro- pigmentation corrective procedures.  

She regularly attends industry conventions and educational conferences to stay abreast of new procedures and equipment in order to best serve her clients. She is a former member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals and the American Academy of Micro Pigmentation. Her experience as a portrait and body airbrush artist gives her an edge in dealing with balance of the face and helping her clients choose just the right color.  

She formerly owned and operated A Polished Look in Calais, Maine and Visage Permanent Cosmetics in San Diego California. Prior to opening her own business she worked at Beauty Forever Day Spa, Elements Day Spa and the prestigious Primo Day Spa and Salon which is renowned as one of San Diego’s best day spas.

Jocelyn loves what she does.  It gives her great satisfaction to know that she has helped someone look their best or helped them get through the day with more self-confidence.
